Ahhhh....The Mission 18 hr. Did you ever have one of those days when EVERYTHING seemed to go into the toilet. That was the Mission 18 hr for us. In fact the whole weekend was an exercise in blundering. We didn't even make it to the pre-race meeting the night before because we forgot about the time change going from central to eastern. We did have a great time and hopefully learned some lessons under the tutelage of Hard Knox. The map includes comments on most of the debacles that occurred during the race

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this muddy port,
Aboard this tiny Ship.

The mate was a mighty paddlin' man,
The Skipper brave and sure,
Three passengers set sail that day
For an 18 hour tour.

So this is the tale of our castways,
